Why is swimming so important

Topic: Why is swimming important

Swimming is important, why because you never know if there will be
a flood or a tsunami or if our island is sinking due to pollution you never
know that's why we need to learn how to swim. How would you survive
a flood, tsunami and others because you can’t survive if you don’t
know how to swim.

If you swim it will keep your heart and lungs healthy because when you
swim you move your whole body against the resistance of the water. Swimming
keeps your heart rate up and takes some stress off your body. It can build up
muscle strength and cardiovascular fitness. Swimming maintains your health
weight and is healthy.

If you don’t swim then you could never know how to escape an island when it
is sinking or when you are in a flood and your holding on for dear life but you
got swept away from all the water coming at you. You could never survive unless
you know how to swim. That is why teachers at our school push us all to swim so
you know what to do in an emergency.
